Privacy policy
Last updated August 18, 2026
The short version
Analytics on this website run without cookies until you allow them. Advertising tags never load unless you allow them, and they stay off if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. We do not sell your personal data. You can change your choices at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
Who we are
Zelos, Inc. ("Zelos", "we") provides the Zelos desktop app, the Zelos cloud console, and this website. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Reach us at [email protected].
This policy covers zeloscloud.io, the cloud console at console2.zeloscloud.io, and the desktop app. Engineering data you record or upload through the product is covered by your agreement with us, and we process it only to provide the service.
What we collect
On this website: pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, the referring site, and any campaign or ad click id in the link you arrived on. If you allow analytics, we also record a session replay with everything you type hidden.
In the console and app: your name, email address, and profile picture from the identity provider you sign in with, the organization you belong to, billing details needed to process payments, and how you use the product.
We do not ask for or want special categories of data, and the products are not aimed at children.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use website analytics and advertising measurement with your consent, which you give through the banner and can withdraw at any time.
We use account, product, and billing data to perform our contract with you: to run the service, support you, and charge for it.
We rely on legitimate interests to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, debug failures, and understand product usage in the app, where you can opt out in settings.
Cookies and similar technologies
Before you choose, analytics run in a cookieless mode that stores nothing on your device. Choosing Accept all, or enabling a category under Preferences, is what allows the storage below.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| zelos_consent | Zelos (local storage) | Remembers your cookie choices. Set for everyone, and it holds no identifier. | Until cleared |
| ph_* | PostHog | An anonymous id that lets us recognize a repeat visit and link it to a later signup. | 1 year |
| zelos_gclid, zelos_wbraid, zelos_gbraid, zelos_li_fat_id, zelos_twclid, zelos_rdt_cid | Zelos | Stores the ad click id from the link you arrived on, so we can tell which ad led to a signup. | 30 days |
| Google, LinkedIn, X, and Reddit tags | Those platforms | Measure ad conversions and build audiences. Loaded only with advertising consent. | Set by each platform |
Who we share it with
We share data with service providers who process it on our behalf: PostHog for analytics, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Neon and Cloudflare for hosting and storage, and Sentry for error reporting. Booking a demo takes you to Google Calendar, and downloads are served from our release host.
If you allow advertising and arrived from an ad, we send that ad platform the click id and a hashed version of your email address so it can match the signup to its ad. Google, LinkedIn, X, and Reddit receive this. We never send your name, your plaintext email, or anything you create in the product.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to a buyer if the business is acquired.
Where it goes
We are based in the United States and our providers process data there. When data moves out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Website analytics are retained for up to 12 months, and session replays for 30 days. Account and organization data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 90 days of closure, except where we must keep billing records for tax and accounting law. Ad click ids expire after 30 days.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to restrict processing, to receive your data in a portable form, to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what came before, and to complain to your data protection authority.
If you are in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the right to know, delete, and correct your data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.
Your privacy choices
We do not sell personal data, and we never have. We do share limited data with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising, which several US state laws define as "sharing". You can opt out in two ways, both of which take effect immediately:
Open and turn off Advertising. Doing so also deletes the advertising cookies already stored on your device.
Or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser or an extension. We honor it automatically, and advertising stays off for as long as it is present.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will ask for your consent again.
